Graduate Students

Durna Alakbarova

Durna graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Arizona State University in 2016 and received her Master’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2022. Her research interests are memory, learning, and metacognition. Her current research investigates the cognitive processes underlying the benefits due to memory from retrieval practice. In her free time, Durna enjoys drawing, dancing, and reading.


Connor Dupre

Connor received his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2022 and joined the AMA Lab in the Fall of 2023. His research investigates the cognitive and metacognitive processes involved in prospective memory, with a specific focus on understanding how cognitive offloading benefits memory.
